A warm sunny morning greeted us as we packed up and left South Australia and headed into our homeland – where the speed limit drops, the roads are bumpy, oncoming drivers don’t acknowledge you and those behind you are really impatient (even though they have to drive slower!). At least there is the smell of spring in the air and the sun is shining.Stopping along the way to scratch a big Koala, we arrived at a luxurious Caravan park in Ballarat, where the kids rediscovered jumping pillows, decent playgrounds and home delivery Pizza for dinner. A very pleasant and relaxing last afternoon.
