Turning right from Katherine we headed into previously unseen (by Dad) territory. A long drive though slowly changing scenery eventually got us to Timber Creek (back to red dust !), where spent our first night without power in a roadside camp – next to Victoria River.The girls discovered they couldn’t swim there! Dad discovered a Bower Bird nest and we all realized it’s very hard to hug a Boab tree !
