An historical event !

It’s not every day you can say you saw an ocean for the first time. Today Louisa and Isabel first set their eyes on the brilliant turquoise blue of the Indian Ocean.
And what a beautiful sight it is up here at this time of the year!
The beach is clean, white sand, the water is warm, not a crocodile in sight (at least that’s what the locals tell the tourists) and the beautiful bodies adorning the area make one realize that this is fast becoming a focus for many people to relax in.
We went shopping (food and stuff) in the morning and then a tour of the area to get our bearings – after looking at Cable Beach we could not resist the temptation and went back after lunch with our traveling companions for a swim (and a drink).
It’s a tough gig…..
Aunty Gabby arrives tonight so we are all staying up late to meet her at the airport.
